NCBA has been a trusted voice and advocate for older adults, ensuring they have the resources, support, and opportunities needed to age with dignity. Founded in 1970, NCBA played a pivotal role in shaping national conversations on aging, making sure the concerns of older populations were heard at the highest levels of policy and decision-making.
Since its inception, NCBA has championed initiatives that promote economic security, access to healthcare, affordable housing, and workforce opportunities for aging adults. By working closely with legislators, policymakers, advocacy groups, and service organizations, NCBA continues to drive meaningful change, empowering older adults to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
As one of the nation’s longest-standing organizations dedicated to aging issues, NCBA remains committed to ensuring that every older adult, regardless of background or circumstance, has the opportunity to thrive.

Since 2003, Karyne Jones has led NCBA Housing Management and Development Corporation, guiding the organization's efforts to advocate for aging populations nationwide. Under her leadership, NCBA has remained at the forefront of ensuring older adults have access to critical resources, equitable opportunities, and a strong voice in shaping national aging policies.

Elias Hussein
Executive Vice President
Elias Hussein has been with NCBA since 1978.
He oversees operations in all of the organization’s program areas.

Angie Boddie
Director of Health Programs
Angie Boddie joined NCBA in 2004.
She directs all health promotions, advocacy, and education programs for NCBA.
